SOLUTION
ARCHITECTURE GROUP

Workshops should work through the design of the solution support
for each client product, for each high level business process. These
should be carried out daily with workshops each afternoon and the
design architects spending the morning communicationg the emerging
solution/high level package design to their team. Detailed package
designs and configuration cannot begin until this process is complete
and the solution framework defined

It
is essential that the design architects from each team participate
in these sessions

Create
a client Design Authority Group. The role of this group is to provide
a single client decision making entity who are empowered to make
requirements and design decisions. It should comprise key client
subject matter experts and stakeholders and the solution architects.
It should not contain more than 6 dedicated client staff. Additional
staff can be invited to a particular meeting to talk on a particular
subject
