Background
The
business systems were designed to support ipulsys' defined business
objectives:
1. Achieve service, product and pricing differentiation
·
Provide
for extensive customer self service capabilities, enabling customers
to access the ipulsys operating environment
·
Offer
unique products such as unified messaging and global IP services
as well as low cost IDD and bandwidth
2. Establish low cost and price position
·
Provide
for tight control of network deployment costs associated with customer/partners
and tracking of costs associated with each element while reaping
economies of scale by aggregating partner traffic and connectivity
3. Deliver flexibility of service and customer service offerings
· Allow for the ability to introduce new products (or combinations
of existing ipulsys/partner products) rapidly without substantive
changes to the service and revenue stream architecture
· Design the architecture to allow for incremental introduction
of automated processes, based on business need and volume of transactions
associated with interaction with Partners/customers
4. Achieve quality of service
· Provide for "best in class service" offerings on an initially
limited product offering
· Quickly respond to and resolve issues impacting end-customer
and partner needs
· Enable partners, and later end-customers, to manage their
service portfolios and have rapid and high quality responses from
ipulsys
